6/16-6/18 Father's Day Weekend

This watercolor drawing is a gift dedicated to my hardworking father for Father's Day.

When I think of my dad, I picture him wearing his under armor shirt, sitting at his office looking intensely at his computer scrolling through hundreds of emails. Since my dad is also very artsy and loves Andy Warhol's artwork, I had to add that in the background.

As you can see, the figures are portrayed in forms of animals. I did this intentionally. I based it off on my families' Chinese zodiac signs. My dad (pig), mom (mouse), sister (sheep), and me (chicken).

simple storyline: On the right, I based the drawing of my dad and I (pig and chicken) when I visit him at his office. I'm either distracting him trying to make him laugh, trying to get his attention so we can go get dinner, or just simply standing around watching him work haha.

Whereas, the image on the left is in a cloud bubble. I know that even though he is always busy, we are always in his thoughts. So, in this case, I drew my dad thinking of my sister who's always working in the lab. Coincidentally, my mom is a rat so it's only fitting that a mouse has to be in a science lab right?...so I added her on top of my sister's head haha However, it did cross my mind to draw my sister doing an experiment on the rat. ex: dissection, injection? ...but of course I didn't because that would be too gruesome to my mom.

當我想起我爸爸，我想像他穿著Under Armor 的運動上衣，坐在他的辦公室裡，盯著看他的電腦. 因為他每天都大概有數百封電子郵件. 再來就是, 我的父親也非常欣賞藝術，也很喜歡安迪沃霍爾的作品，所以我不得不在背景中加上安迪沃霍爾的畫.

首先你會發現這畫是以動物來代表我家人. 我用我們的生肖 爸爸（豬），媽媽（老鼠），姐姐（羊）和我（雞).

簡單說明故事劇情：右邊是描述我去爸爸的辦公室時（豬和雞）我都會在旁邊一直講話想讓他笑，希望他可以注意我一下 （哈哈我好煩), 不然就會吵的要去吃晚飯，或者就傻傻的站在旁邊看他工作哈哈. 而左邊的畫面是畫在雲泡中. 爸爸總是很忙，但我知道他經常都在想我們. 所以我選者畫我爸爸在想我姐姐在實驗室工作. 然後巧合的是，我媽媽屬老鼠，所以把老鼠放在實驗室裡實在是太適合了哈哈哈. 所以我把媽媽放在姐姐的頭頂上.
